These headbands are ok. The inside of the headband is a thin half inch headband covered by a thick piece of felt and then wrapped in the outer fabric. The ends of the headband are slightly padded, and a black covering is glued over the ends. They look pretty, and the outside construction looks flawless. But, I'm unsure how well this construction is going to hold up. The darker colors have noticeable sparkle, but the lighter colors (pink/yellow) have barely noticeable sparkle. The twist is directly at the top of the headband, like the pictures. Because the twist is directly on top of the head, it is going to stick up about an inch above your hair unless you have curly hair. In my opinion, these would look best on those with curly/wavy hair.
