Description
The Baby Jogger City GO 2 Infant Car Seat, Pike with Leatherette, provides a safe spot for baby to join in on family adventures from day one! It securely installs in any car or taxi, even without a car seat base, thanks to the taxi-safe belt path. Or, use the new RAPIDLOCK Base, which installs in seconds using belt-tensioning technology, and know that the Anti-Rebound bar is providing an extra layer of safety for your baby. This car seat is enhanced by upgraded fabrics that offer a soft, textured feel that your baby will love. You'll love the stylish black perforated leatherette handle. City GO 2 also easily clicks in to your favorite Baby Jogger stroller to create the perfect travel system. This seat is rated for infants rear-facing from 4 to 35 lb and up to 32" and features a new quiet canopy design that allows baby to remain undisturbed while on the go. The base can be installed using your vehicle belt or the integrated push button LATCH, and features 4 recline positions to ensure a level install. New TRUE Test Plus enhanced safety standards provide additional peace of mind that baby will be protected.

After having to unexpectedly replace our carseat short weeks before our second little's arrival, we had to make some quick decisions. Here are our reasons for choosing this car seat over others on the market.1. Baby Jogger has proven their brand through durable, high-functioning, consistently high-ranking, easy-to-use strollers. We're taking a chance on this new-to-the-market seat, but we're convinced they'll stand behind their product & work with us should problems arise (unlike the manufacturers of our previous seat, making this consideration a top priority.)2. A small, narrow seat that could fit in the backseat of our compact car, sharing the space with our toddler's still rear-facing seat & allowing both driver & front passenger to travel in comfort.3. Have a higher-end weight & height limit for infant seats. (We both have Dutch heritage - tall & big babies are common genetic traits!)4. Lightweight & a good size for air travel.5. Easy to install properly - with & without the base. Some other points it hit that weren't necessary, but are still appreciated: easy to adjust, good looking, large sun canopy (not sure what a previous reviewer's issue was with the canopy fabric - we didn't notice.) As well, the grey is an excellent choice (will still go well with our 2014 amethyst city mini stroller) and the fabric is plenty comfy for a babe (no baby needs everything to feel like minky!)The only thing that could be different would be the placement of the warning labels - definitely not a deal-breaker, and you certainly can't miss them, but it does seem odd to attach them to the fabric on the insert right next to baby's head where the seams could, potentially, possibly, irritate.
