My colicky 7 week old has had the hardest time with naps and just falling asleep in general. She cries like the world is ending even after I’ve checked all the other boxes, gets so overtired and literally won’t fall asleep unless she’s in my arms. Put the swaddle on her last night and she fell asleep within 5 minutes and was so much more calm/less panicky. I was able to transfer her to her bassinet with ease and she slept for 5 hours!! She also normally takes 10-30 min naps and I just cannot get her to sleep longer without her waking herself up/breaking out of the swaddle but she’s on her 2nd nap of the day that’s been over an hour!!!My complaint is that the velcro insert is MUCH smaller than on their photos, so I will likely return it and hopefully it will be replaced by one with a thicker insert that is better at keeping her hands down.This review is for the dads….. Let’s get to the point. For all you fellow dads out here that are losing your minds, get two of these. Don’t bother with all the other crap swaddles. You get what you pay for and our kid loves this. He knocks the heck out as opposed to screaming and crying in those other worthless swaddles. This makes him feel comfortable and secure. Combine this with the mommaRoo and BAM! Your kid will be in Snuggie wuggie heaven. Just make sure to ALWAYS check that diaper first. Your kid will poop and pee, 2 minutes after the change, so get used to it. Other than that good luck and Godspeed on your journey.I have to admit I was skeptical adding this to my cart. But it is worth EVERY PENNY!! As soon as I received the notification that it was delivered I bathed her and got her in it. She is 5 weeks old and weighs 10lbs 6oz. She fights her sleep all night and doesn't nap during the day for more than 30 min. It wasn't immediate...but within 20 min she was sound asleep and slept through me moving her to her bed. I changed her two hours into wearing it and she slept through that as well. I'm thankful I made the purchase. It did not disappoint.This sleep sack is the life saver for the babies who doesn't sleep well, I was desperate and I found this product I had to give it a try so I bought it and after a week it worked, my baby is 3 month old now and I still use it cause my baby it's not rolling yet!! I wish Amazon have the transition sleeping sack from Dreamland so I can buy it from here!!I was originally skeptical due to the price, but this swaddle ended up being worth it. Our 6 week old baby started sleeping for 1.5-2 hour stretches to 3-4 hour stretches in the first week of switching to this swaddle, and her naps starting becoming a bit more reliable as well. In our case, she didn't enjoy being put in the swaddle any more than she had previous swaddles, but once she was asleep in this, it seemed to help her sleep longer.My little girl was pretty easy as a newborn, predictable schedule of 3 hour wakes and easy to fall back asleep. Then regression hit me like a ton of bricks - barely sleeping - waking up every two hours and taking FOREVER to get to sleep. I bought all the things and did sleep training - still nothing worked. Then bought this sleep sack - first night she woke up once and went back to sleep 15 minutes later. Next night - slept through the night!!!!! Truly a miracle product. So so happy!!!My baby is 8 weeks now and sleeps well at night with intervals of 4-5 hours at a time after using this sleep sack. It’s nice because it will be easy to transition him to unswaddled once he starts rolling over. There are holes for his arms to come out when the time comes. I go back and forth between this and the nested bean sleep sack. They are both weighted (this one is more weighted) and I love it. At first I thought it would be too much weight but I was surprised at how much my baby liked it. It took about 2 days for him to get use to but I started using it on him during naps and it was an easy transition. It’s really easy to use for diaper changes in the middle of the night as well.I can get my baby to sleep and transfer her to a crib or bassinet but in any other swaddle or sleep sack she wakes up typically after 20-30 minutes. I’ve been using this for the past 2 weeks and it’s the only thing that’s truly helped my baby sleep independently. She now is sometimes even getting 5-6 hour stretches at night. It is pricey but honestly so worth it. Wish I had bought it sooner!
